All our beef is grass-fed, raised using regenerative practices and in partnership with the land. It is Pasture For Life and Organic (in transition) certified.
The beef is belted galloway crossed with angus and offers all the well-documented health benefits of grass-fed beef. As the cattle are raised on pasture, their beef tends to be leaner, lower in saturated fat and cholesterol, and higher in beneficial omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). All nutrients associated with heart health and reduced inflammation.
Grass-fed belted galloway-type meat has also been shown to have higher protein levels than many commercial beef breed (with pure belted galloway studies reporting roughly 19% more protein than standard beef), and this advantage is often retained or enhanced in crosses with angus, resulting in a nutrient-dense, flavourful beef that supports health-minded lifestyles while delivering great taste.
All products come frozen and weights are approximate. Blast freezing is one of the best ways to preserve the nutritional quality of fresh food. By rapidly lowering the temperature, blast freezing forms very small ice crystals within the food, which helps maintain the structure of cells. This means that when the food is thawed, it retains more of its original texture, flavour, and most importantly its nutrients. Because the process happens so quickly, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants are effectively “locked in” at their peak, preventing the gradual nutrient loss that can occur during slow freezing or extended refrigeration. The result is food that stays closer to its fresh, nutrient-dense state for longer.
